The Open Source Programs Office (OSPO) is excited to share our Open Source Project Catalog! The catalog is a continuously growing collection of open source software projects developed or contributed to by faculty, staff, and students on campus. We encourage you to explore the projects, learn about their applications, and potentially collaborate with the developers.

Project Name | CUFSM |
Project Description | Constrained and Unconstrained Finite Strip Method (CUFSM) is open source software for determining the elastic buckling behavior of structural members using the finite strip method. Program is used extensively in structural engineering for cold-formed, carbon, stainless steels as well as aluminum and fiber reinforced plastic structural members. Engineers calculate the local, distortional, and global buckling values under any set of applied stresses. |
