The Open Source Programs Office (OSPO) is excited to share our Open Source Project Catalog! The catalog is a continuously growing collection of open source software projects developed or contributed to by faculty, staff, and students on campus. We encourage you to explore the projects, learn about their applications, and potentially collaborate with the developers.

Project NameSteamroller
Project Description

Steamroller is a Python framework designed to handle many of the challenges to effective design and execution of computational experiments. Steamroller allows researchers to explicitly specify the steps and artifacts of experiments, running locally on a laptop or other limited environment, and then seamlessly take advantage of massively parallel grid environments and GPU resources to run effectively over large corpora and optimize over broad ranges of hyperparameters.
