Open Source Program Office Services

The Johns Hopkins University Open Source Programs Office (OSPO) provides a number of services to students, faculty, researchers, and staff working in the open-source ecosystem.

FOSSProF is a community-driven program that will provide funding of up to $50,000 to support open source software (OSS) practitioners on campus and to help the OSPO discover new ways to effectively contribute to OSS program success. FOSSProF is open to all groups at Hopkins that are working on creating, developing, or contributing to open source projects. To participate, simply submit a proposal via the web form.

The OSPO has established a university-wide GitHub Enterprise account available for all Johns Hopkins affiliates and organizations. If you are currently paying for GitHub, or wish to access additional features available through the enterprise account, please fill out the form on the website to create a new account or migrate your existing account(s) into the enterprise.
